Single-Stream Recycling

Single stream curbside recycling is every Wednesday. You may purchase a container at Borough Hall or pick one up at a local hardware store. For questions call Borough Hall at 610-284-1606 or visit our recycling page.

Lansdowne-Yeadon Elm Street Program

The Lansdowne-Yeadon Elm Street Program serves the area of Yeadon in the northwest corner of the borough, straddling the boundary with the Lansdowne and continuing to the SEPTA railroad tracks parallel to Baltimore Avenue on the north, to Baily Road on the south, to Lansdowne Avenue on the west, and Union, Penn, and Industrial Park Avenues on the east. The program employs a five-point approach to neighborhood revitalization by establishing volunteer-driven committees in these areas: (1) Safe, Clean & Green, (2) Neighbors & Economy, (3) Design, (4) Image & Identity, (5) Sustainable Organization. Friends of Mt. Moriah Cemetary

The Friends of Mount Moriah Cemetary is an organization dedicated to promoting the historical significance, enhancing the beauty and preserving the artistic heritage of Mount Moriah Cemetery. Established in 1855, Mount Moriah is a 380-acre cemetary spanning the municipalities of Yeadon and neighboring Philadelphia, and is the burial site of a number of notable figures.
