The mission of the Code Department is to serve the residents of Yeadon Borough through the administration and enforcement of regulatory ordinances adopted by Council. The department responds to concerns from citizens that affect the quality of life within the Borough such as zoning, building compliance, permits, property maintenance, life safety, signage, and public nuisances.

The Code Department work with residents, community, business associations, public service agencies and other Borough departments to assure the health, safety and welfare of everyone involved in Yeadon’s experience. The department makes every effort towards maintaining a secure and pleasant environment, while striving to further enhance the quality of life that has become synonymous with Yeadon.
