The Mission of the Yeadon Police Department is to protect and preserve life and property; to understand and serve the needs of the community and to improve the quality of life by maintaining order, recognizing and resolving community problems, and apprehending criminals. As you might expect, the success of law enforcement efforts in any community depends largely upon citizen interest and participation. Our Police Department continues to be community-oriented, encouraging citizen involvement in preventing and reducing crime.

If you have information about criminal activity and want to report it in strict confidence, please call the tipline and leave detail information. All information will be handled confidentially.

NON-EMERGENCY – (610) 623-1500
If you have general questions for the police and want to get or give non-emergency information then call during business hours; 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday (except holidays).
