One Week Left! Take Yeadon’s Downtown Development Survey by November 8
There’s just one week left to complete the Borough’s Mixed-Use Development Survey!
Yeadon Borough is updating its plan for future land use with support from the Delaware County Planning Department. A future land use plan is an inventory of how land is used now and recommendations for how it should be used in the future. We are focusing specifically on commercial areas. This project will help support community and economic development and provide guidance for the development of the borough.
Community input will play an important role in shaping these plans. We are doing a survey and held a public meeting on October 8 to understand:
- how community members feel about Yeadon’s commercial areas now,
- what issues are most important for Yeadon to address
- what places and things you want to see in a vibrant commercial areas in Yeadon.

In November, the Delaware County Planning Department will share findings from the survey and workshop and work on drafting an updated land use policy informed by what the community told us.
