In addition, the County has also instituted specific State of Emergency instructions for Delaware County. Each Delco Mayor is to provide a proclamation for their respective municipality. Consequently, the Borough of Yeadon is following suit. Therefore, for the next two weeks, as Mayor, the following proclamation is hereby in effect:

Only essential employees are to report for duty. All other activities such as weddings, funerals, paying of tickets or citations and ordinary resident commerce within the borough has been temporarily suspended. Police and Fire activity will continue. If you encounter any emergency (as you would before), please call 911.

In a further effort to maintain Social Distancing to slow down the spread of the disease, all gatherings of 50 or more people is hereby prohibited until further notice. This includes parties, concerts, weddings, funerals, places of worship, all business establishments and the like, that constitutes 50 or more people.
