Yeadon Public Library Black History Month events

The Friends of Yeadon Public Library and Yeadon Public Library invite you to celebrate Black History Month at two very special upcoming events.

On Saturday, February 21, the Library will host a special celebration with presentations by Michelle Thornhill, Cultural Historian & Preservation Advocate and Netfah Amina-Afia, Wraptologist and Holistic Designer. The event is free to the public, however, registration is required by February 18. Please call 610-623-4090 or register at yeadon@delcolibraries.org.

On Tuesday, February 24, Dr. Daisy Century presents her portrayal of Harriet Tubman. Dr. Century defines her role as a Historical Interpreter because she literally becomes the character she portrays.
