Reminder: New Year’s Day Trash Collection Moved Ahead to Thursday, 12/31
Due to the New Years’ holiday on Friday, January 1, trash collection scheduled for that day will be collected a day early on Thursday, December 31.

SBA Virtual Disaster Loan Outreach Centers Open New Year’s Day for Businesses and Residents Affected by Tropical Storm Isaias
The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) announced its Virtual Disaster Loan Outreach Centers will remain open on Jan. 1. This change will allow disaster survivors to contact SBA with their program questions and ask about the status of their application.
Businesses and residents affected by Tropical Storm Isaias on Aug. 4, 2020 can apply for low-interest disaster loans from the SBA. The declaration covers Berks and Philadelphia counties and the adjacent counties of Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Lancaster, Lebanon, Lehigh, Montgomery and Schuylkill in Pennsylvania; and Burlington, Camden and Gloucester in New Jersey. The filing deadline to return applications for physical property damage is Feb. 16, 2021.
Pennsylvania businesses and residents affected by Tropical Storm Isaias on Aug. 4, 2020, can apply for low-interest disaster loans from the U.S. Small Business Administration, according to a December 21, 2020 news release. Applicants may apply online using the Electronic Loan Application (ELA) via the SBA’s secure website at DisasterLoan.sba.gov.< Businesses and individuals may also obtain information and loan applications by calling the SBA’s Customer Service Center at 1-800-659-2955 (1-800-877-8339 for the deaf and hard-of-hearing), or by emailing DisasterCustomerService@sba.gov. Loan applications can also be downloaded at sba.gov/disaster.
Completed applications should be mailed to: U.S. Small Business Administration, Processing and Disbursement Center, 14925 Kingsport Road, Fort Worth, TX 76155.
The filing deadline to return applications for physical property damage is Feb. 16, 2021.
The deadline to return economic injury applications Sept. 20, 2021.
County Planning Commission to Review Makamie Court Application January 21
The Delaware County Planning Commission will hold an online public meeting at 4:00 p.m. on January 21, 2021 to review application 49-7588-21 by Human Good regarding Senior Apartments at Makamie Court, South Lansdowne Avenue and Baily Road.

Delaware County Conducting Drive-Thru COVID-19 Testing 12/28-12/31 in Darby and Upland
Delaware County will be conducting public drive-thru COVID-19 testing next week at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital in Darby and at the US Army Reserve in Upland. Due to the holidays, testing will be limited to Monday and Tuesday in Upland and Monday through Thursday in Darby.
Testing will be available for insured and uninsured individuals 12 years of age or older who live or work in Delaware County and have COVID-19 symptoms, were exposed to COVID-19, or are considered critical/essential workers.
Individuals must pre-register at www.delcopa.gov/testing to receive a test.
If you have health insurance, please bring your insurance card to the test site. However, there are no out-of-pocket costs or co-pays for COVID-19 testing. Masks or face coverings must be worn.

Trash Collection Notices: Updated Schedule Due to Weather, Holidays
Due to the inclement weather, trash collection for Thursday (12/17) will be collected on Friday (12/18). If your trash is not collected, please notify the Borough immediately. Also, please leave your trash out so it can be collected the next day. Please make sure you have cleared the common driveways/alleys so the trash collector is able to pass through them.
Due to the Christmas holiday next week, trash collection for Friday (12/25) will be collected on Thursday.
Due to the New Years’ holiday on Friday 1/1/20, trash collection for that day will be collected on Thursday, 12/31.
