Regenerate biodiversity and ecosystem function in your own yard!

This webinar – presented by the Darby Creek Valley Association (DCVA) and Lower Merion Conservancy – will describe the reasons and ways to make small yet meaningful changes as well as resources for making bigger changes and opportunities to receive free native plant plugs through local organizations and volunteer work.

Presenters include Michelle Detwiler from Wild About Native Plants and Jamie Anderson from Eastern Delaware County Stormwater Collaborative. A member of the Coopertown Beautification Crew, who has done this in their own yard, will discuss how they started their grassroots neighboRhood initiative. Inspired by Homegrown National Park.

Roadwork Notice

Notice of Road Construction: Duff Avenue Between Stetser and Callahan Avenues

Road reconstruction on Duff Avenue (between Callahan Avenue and Stetser Avenue) will begin on or about April 10, 2024.

During this time, this section of road will be closed and barricaded for 24 hours a day until this work is completed.

Residents of Callahan Ave. and Stetser Ave. will have access to their homes at all-time. There will be no access for school buses, emergency vehicles, postal delivery, trash collection or residents until this work is completed.

Your cooperation is greatly appreciated, as we look forward to a safe and speedy completion of this project.

Walking Path at Kerr Field Now Open for Public Use

The William Penn School District has opened the new walking path for public use at the Rap Curry Athletic Complex at Kerr Field.

Open at 6:00 AM daily, the path is open until 7:00 PM through the end of August; the path closes at 5:00 PM from September through February.

The facility is located at 1100 Baily Road, Yeadon, PA 19050
