Delaware County’s ‘Healthy for the Holidays’ Weekly COVID Vaccination Update
Delaware County continues to offer all three COVID-19 vaccines—Moderna, Pfizer, and Johnson & Johnson— in multiple locations, including the Delaware County Wellness Center in Yeadon, the Keystone First Wellness Center in Chester, 69th Street Terminal, and a community vaccination clinic at the Watkins Avenue Senior Center in Upper Darby.
1st and 2nd doses, as well as boosters/3rd doses are available for all individuals.
The Pfizer vaccine is available to individuals 5 years of age and older, with a second dose 21 days after the first dose. Parents or guardians must provide consent for 5 to 17-year-olds and must plan to be present during the vaccination.
Who can receive a booster?
- Individuals 18+ who received their 2nd dose of Moderna more than 6 months ago
- Individuals 16+ who received their 2nd dose of Pfizer more than 6 months ago
- Individuals 18+ who received the single-doses Johnson & Johnson more than 2 months ago
- Individuals who are moderately to severely immunocompromised are eligible to receive an additional dose of Moderna or Pfizer 28 days after their 2nd dose.
All vaccinations are free, and do not require identification or health insurance.

Appointments are strongly recommended. Walk-in are welcome, though we ask individuals without an appointment to arrive at a vaccine clinic at least one hour after start time.

Homebound Individuals
Delaware County continues to operate its successful Homebound COVID-19 Vaccination Program, providing vaccines and booster shots to homebound individuals (and a family member/caretaker).
To schedule a homebound vaccination (for themselves or a loved one/caretaker) residents should call the COVID-19 Call Center at (484) 276-2100. Homebound visits will be scheduled for an upcoming Tuesday, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
