Donate to Delaware County Holiday Food Drives This Saturday, Dec. 5
SUPPORT YOUR COMMUNITY DURING COVID-19!
Saturday, December 5th
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the County will not be holding its traditional annual food drive. The County has modified its approach to still meet the critical need to help the community. Food insecurity impacts the Delaware County community, and the pandemic has worsened the situation. It’s important that we help our neighbors in need, especially during the holiday season.
The County has conducted eight drive thru-food collections since May and has coordinated four additional holiday food drives to help provide nutritious food to our community.
Residents are invited to donate and support the County’s Food Drives on Dec. 5. Food collected will be distributed to food pantries across the county.
Hosted by Delaware Co. Department of Human Services, in partnership with Congresswoman Mary Gay Scanlon, Sen. Daylin Lech,
State Rep. Mike Zabel, State Rep. Greg Vitali, and Haverford Township
