October 26 Public Safety Commitee Meeting Postponed
The meeting of the Yeadon Borough Public Safety Committee scheduled for Saturday, October 26, 2024 has been postponed.
The rescheduled meeting will take place on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 9:30 am.

Yeadon Avenue Resurfacing Starts Thursday, October 24th
Notice to Residents
Road milling and resurfacing to take place on Yeadon Avenue on the following dates:

Thursday, October 24

Friday, October 25
-
Monday, October 28
Please remove all vehicles from the street by 7:00 am on these days.
No work will be performed on Saturday and Sunday.
Yeadon Avenue Blocks Scheduled for Milling and Resurfacing:
- Yeadon Avenue – Redwood to Cedar
- Yeadon Avenue – Cedar to Parmley
- Yeadon Avenue – Parmley to Darnell
- Yeadon Avenue – Darnell to MacDade
Residents will be able to access their homes, but traffic may be restricted and street
parking will be prohibited until the work is completed. Please do not drive through
barricades, as these are placed for the safety and protection of the workers.
Unless absolutely necessary, please do not drive or walk across freshly tarred or paved
street. The oils and tar will stain cars, clothes, carpet, etc.
If we are not there on the above date, we will be there on the following day.
Remember: Only a short-term inconvenience for a better road! Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
ROAD CLOSURE: Yeadon Avenue – Thursday, October 17th
Due to an emergency sewer dig, Yeadon Avenue is currently closed between Redwood Avenue and Cedar Avenue. The closure is expected to last until until 10 PM.

Yeadon Borough Council will hold a legislative meeting at 7:00 PM on Thursday, October 17th, 2024.

Yeadon Borough offices will be closed on Monday, October 14th in observance of Indigenous Peoples’ Day.
Yeadon Avenue Closed Between Guenther Ave. and Baily Road – Thursday and Friday, October 10-11
Yeadon Avenue will be closed from Guenther Ave to Baily Road on Thursday, October 10 and Friday, October 11 due to pre-construction paving preparations taking place. Please plan accordingly.
