Earth Day Cleanup a Success Thanks to Generous Sponsors

On Saturday, April 19th, the Yeadon community came together to support Mother Nature in celebration of Earth Day 2025 during a Cleanup and Tree Planting Event.

Elected officials, Yeadon Borough employees, and community volunteers all joined forces to make a difference.

Veterans Resource Fair in Sharon Hill – Saturday, June 7th

The Delaware County Office of Military and Veteran Affairs is hosting a Veterans Resource Fair on Saturday, June 7th from 12 pm to 3 pm

The fair takes place at First African Baptist Church
901 Clifton Avenue, Sharon Hill, PA 19079

Along with a variety of resources, there will be free haircuts and lunch will be provided.

Come join Yeadon Recreation Department as we prep, mulch and plant flowers and veggies to start the season off right!

Bring your tools, gloves, a bottle of water, seeds, plants and most importantly your SMILE.

State Representative Joanna McClinton and State Senator Anthony H. Williams are holding a community document shredding event on Saturday, April 12, from 10 AM to 1 PM in the parking lot of Friendship Circle Senior Center.
