COVID-19 vaccinations for ages 5 and up, booster shots, and flu shots will be available – No ID, Insurance, or Appointment is Required.

Both the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines will be available.

On Friday, November 19, the Fitness Court^® was opened in Yeadon Community Park as part of improvements to the park and for the physical and mental health and well-being of the community. Representative Joanna McClinton, Mayor Rohan Hepkins, President Monroe, Vice President Francis, and Councilors Johnson and Roadcloud were in attendance along with many of the sponsors, such as The Giant Company, Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful, Republic Bank, Catholic Cemeteries of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, Seiples Collision and Restoration, Senior Community Services, and Yeadon Education Athletic Association. Ambassador Ericka Grant was also in attendance showing everyone how to use the equipment. Additional sponsors include the National Fitness Campaign, Arthur J. Gallagher & Company, Parkview Pizza & Fried Chicken, or Phat’s Deli & Market.Yeadon Borough appreciates each and everyone involved in this project.

The new Fitness Court^® is an open-air wellness center that allows users to leverage their own body weight to get a complete workout. Created with all ages in mind, this seven-station court is adaptable for all fitness levels. New users can also download the free Fitness Court App — a coach-in-your-pocket style platform — that transforms the outdoor gym into a digitally supported wellness ecosystem. The Fitness Court App, entitled “Fitness Court”, is available for iOS and Android.
