Board of Trustees of the Yeadon Public Library Seeks Library Director

The Board of Trustees of the Yeadon Public Library seeks a dynamic community minded Library Director for our very active library located in a diverse community in Delaware County, PA.

The Director reports to the Board of Trustees and works effectively with the Borough Manager to oversee the safe and efficient operation of the library facility. The Director maintains relationships and provides necessary reports and information to Delaware County Libraries, and to the Board and staff of Yeadon Public Library.

The Director will possess a Master’s Degree in Library Science from an ALA accredited institution. Employment Opportunity: Full-Time Police Officer

The Borough of Yeadon is accepting applications for the position of Police Officer. Applications can be obtained from the Yeadon Borough Police Department located on the first floor of the Yeadon Municipal Building or downloaded here. The applications will be available from 12:00 noon Friday, October 4, 2019 through 4:30 pm Friday, November 8, 2019, during regular business hours Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm or online until applications are due to be returned.

All completed applications must be returned in person no later than 4:30 pm Monday, November 11, 2019 at the Yeadon Borough Police Department.

William Penn School District Seeks Community Input for Superintendent Search

Four Public Focus Groups and Online Survey

The William Penn School District community is invited to take part in a small discussion group, about 90 minutes, to provide input on the ideal qualities for your next superintendent. Participation in the Focus Groups is a key part of this process and will provide the community an opportunity to learn more about the search process and to contribute to the development of a leadership profile for the next superintendent by identifying ideal characteristics and discussing the needs of the district.
