Safe Swap Zone at Borough Hall
The Yeadon Safe Swap Zone is an area where residents making online transactions can meet to exchange products and merchandise safely on Borough property under the watch of 24/7 surveillance cameras.
Located at the main entrance of Borough Hall by the Mayor’s office, the Safe Swap Zone includes the building lobby (during business hours only) and the area outside the main entrance during all other times. The borough decided to designate an area where people can safely exchange items in an effort to minimize risks or fraud and crime related to todays increasingly popular online marketplace.
The Safe Swap Zone is monitored by camera 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
