Faith and Blue

Join Yeadon Police and Community for Faith & Blue Weekend Event Saturday, October 9

Community Walk from Houses of Worship to Longacre Circle on Saturday, October 9

Join your local law enforcement and members of your community for a weekend of resolution and reconciliation. National Faith & Blue Weekend is a collaborative effort to build bridges and break biases.

This is a National Event being hosted by Yeadon Police in Unity with Yeadon Houses of Worship. Congregations will meet at their respective Houses of Worship at 11 am, then walk on sidewalks as a unified body to Longacre Circle (Longacre and Cypress) starting at 11:45 am to arrive there by 12 noon.

The street will be closed to traffic on Longacre between Fern and Church Lane for all of us to gather for prayer, remarks, and to show the Unity of the Yeadon Community and Police Department for all to see.

We will pray for peace, reconciliation, and healing to build connections, break down biases, and connect with one another with God’s blessing. Mark the date and come on out to be part of this blessed event because we are Yeadon Proud, and most of all we are doing things differently here in Yeadon, and it shows in the strength and unity of this community.
